ITyX is a Fast-Growing, Owner-Led Software Company
ITyX employs 70 team members in various business sectors in four German locations. An owner-led, independent software company, ITyX originally specialised in developing individual software for security critical finance systems focusing on banking and insurance.
As a result of research in computer linguistics, Mediatrix ERMS was developed in 2002 as the first auto-adaptive software solution for the classification, routing and response of email messages sent to central business mailboxes. We quickly gained acclaim for the functional density and flexibility of our contact centre solutions. ITyX matured into the leading German provider of AI-based response management solutions for contact centres between 2005 and 2007. During this time the company increased its business volume over fivefold and acquired 40 new team members.
2007 saw the introduction of the Mediatrix MAILROOM and Mediatrix SELF-SERVICE software solutions that are based on the new CONTEX technology from ITyX. The numerous methods for classification and processing of text were considerably improved with a weighted scoring system (ITyX Booster). Compared to traditional incoming mail solutions, the ITyX methods reach considerably higher dark processing rates for classification of letters and archive documents.
Solutions from ITyX are designed for customer service operations in medium sized to large organisations that process a high percentage of written and internet-based queries. Originally intended for contact centres, ITyX products are increasingly used in business-critical IT projects for operational systems.
