ITyX Solutions are the Result of Research and Science

ITyX was founded in 1996 by graduates of the Faculty of Computer Linguistics at the University of Koblenz. The Mediatrix software solutions are the result of various research projects by ITyX from a collaboration of leading German universities and research institutes. We use auto-adaptive methods that are based on state-of-the-art systems of linguistics and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Our systems are designed to analyse and understand all types of text and documents, independent of their language, structure or composition.

Along with recognition (Text-Mining) and routing (Data-Routing) of documents, ITyX methods extract data and evaluation groups from documents (Information Extraction). After applying relevant controls and filters, they are filed and indexed in existing knowledge management systems. Various data sources are consolidated and made accessible using Mediatrix KNOWLEDGE (Information Retrieval).

ITyX's own solutions such as PTME (Power Text Mining Engine) or Neural Mind, considerably increase recognition rates in text mining compared to conventional AI-based classification methods. Using feedback from so-called positive and negative examples, ITyX methods can monitor the reactions of team members during information analysis and include them in future procedures.

The new information acquired during these monitoring processes allows ITyX to optimise their classification rates. The processes developed in the Mediatrix software modules result from research activities carried out since 1998, in which large service organisations in Germany, the UK, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakis have automated their digital customer contacts by email, web, text message, letter and fax.
